The webDU 2009 Call For Papers is open. If you'd like to be a speaker at our annual, antipodean, web gab-fest in Sydney feel free to throw your hat in the ring. On the other hand, if you "like to watch", be part of our social, agenda building experiment at UserVoice.

Peter Joel Blog, the voice of Peter Hall, started back in 2002 and was a regular stop for Flash developers of all levels. The enigmatic Hall has taken a much lower profile in recent years, but his updated webdu bio contains interesting highlights of his recent capers.

For the last few years we've been blessed by the talents of Nectarine’s Steve Piscopo putting together little Flash caricatures of webdu speakers. 2008 is no exception! Just love the new "boggle eyed" look. Here’s a quick sample — you'll have to search the speaker list for more.
