Easy Flash Remoting - Part Four

Phew... After stretching the brain and pounding the keyboard I'm happy to say that I've managed to complete the four part series on Flash Remoting that I've been adding to for a while.

This part is about turning Flash Remoting results into navigation links, how much easier it is now to create dynamic links with some of the new ActionScript introduced with Flash MX.

You can find it on the Daemon site here.

I am wondering - and I am still investigating so please be gentle - what is the advantage of flash remoting over HTML forms. Yes, I understand that they are fancier, but what is the tactical benefit. I have a few projects in mind, but I am wondering if there is a benefit on slow dial-up connections as some of my clients have. Some do have high bandwidth connections, but I would think that the slow load of the flash movie would be of litle use in a low bandwidth connection. Are my concerns valid or am I missing something?
