Fullasagoog: the epicentre of Macromedia blogdom
fullasagoog_030305_tmb.gif

A snapshot of Fullasagoog's relationships with the rest of the web -- this fascinating insight into the world of Macromedia blogging was taken on 03-March-2003 using the GoogleBrowser tool.

GoogleBrowser is an old favourite I keep coming back to time and time again to get a kind of "window on the soul" of web assets. GoogleBrowser remains the best tool for assessing the only thing that counts in Google ranking -- page relationships. I recently stumbled across a superb acedemic article on the PageRank Algorithm which highlights the original thinking behind the Google engine.

Despite the ever-increasing popularity of the Goog -- we're still only ranked a 8/10 (sites like Macromedia.com score 10/10). This seems more than likely due to large number of outbound links to lesser ranked sites. If we could only manage a link from macromedia.com we might crack the elusive 9/10 ranking.

Well done Geoff,
Have you fixed the webservice yet? It still seems to be producing an error...
