Flash Paper is lumber enabled

Checking Fullasagoog, looks like I beat the rush on folks out there for Contribute 2.0 -- good being in the Antipodes sometimes. Once installed, I sat there hunting around in Contribute for Flash Paper only to find its a separate app altogether. It's like Acrobat Distiller in that it sets itself up as a printer driver and captures just about anything you can print. I have to say I'm hooked.

I think I'd spend cash to get this on it's lonesome, and maybe Contribute 2 will sell on Flash Paper alone. Leaves me wondering whether or not all future Macromedia tools will ship with Flash Paper as standard.

I decided to print out the slide notes for my now infamous CFMX Admin presentation -- the file comes to 655k, so I've embedded the SWF on the extended post only.

Just a side note - openoffice 1.1 rc3 can natively save to both pdf and swf, which means you can instantly convert yout documents / powerpoint presentations to a swf file and whack it up on the web. very handy.

I just bought Contribute 2 for no other reason than getting the Flash Paper app. My sites have too much DB content for Contribute to be of much use.

However, my installation failed. Contribute 2 works just fine. The only thing that failed to work was the FlashPaper app... it seems not to have installed the printer driver.

I'm livid, really. Ever heard of this? I scoured Macromedia support and found no information. I just logged a e-mail support request, but don't know how long before they'll get back to me.
