Fullasagoog goes multi-lingual
Fullasagoog now aggregates Deutsche, English, Español, Français, Italiano, and Português blogs.
Set your preferences to include the languages you want in the blend. This is really a service for folk who speak languages other than english and want to read everything in the same place. There are no magic translations here.
A heartfelt thanks to the Goog's various editors who've helped me put together a list of worthy blogs from across the globe:
This is one part of a larger effort to internationalise the Goog. Next I'll be looking at localising the interface -- for the moment english is the only locale. As always suggestions are welcome.
PS. For what it's worth I speak English, some French and a smattering of German :)

A universal translater using the babelfish webservice might be a sweet addition. That's awesome by itself tho! Nice work mang.

how far are you going with this? fully i18n? i hope you will blog how you do this. should be pretty educational.

no, please don't bother with those machine translators. they by and large suck.

No plans for translation services just now -- though I may provide an appropriate link to Babelfish based on your locale setting. I'm hoping to go fully i18n mainly for interests sake but I don't have any time frame other than, "I'm working on it."

You'd be surprised to know I already import Flash-Ripper! But sadly I'm having trouble with the character set. I think that my DB is not set up for Unicode just now. I'm on it but as with all labours of love I can only attack Fullasagoog in fits and bursts.
