since1968 Interviews Nick Bradbury

Marc Garrett of since1968 has released an interview on my least hated, favourite developer Nick Bradbury. Nick and I enoy an intimate relationship -- well ok, so I've been using Homesite, TopStyle and recently FeedDemon daily for years.

Regular readers will know I'm a Homesite+ fan, and despite several attempts still haven't managed the move to DWMX. Of course the interview mentions Nicks thoughts on Homesite, "HomeSite is like an old girlfriend that you no longer keep in touch with. I haven't been involved with HomeSite for several years, and I stopped using it after adding HTML editing to TopStyle."

Funny that I use TopStyle regularly but have never thought to use it as an HTML or CFML editor. I might just have to give it a whirl.

I've recently added Marc Garrett to the blogs on tap at Fullasagoog. He's been blogging since 2001, and covers original Macromedia-related news (i.e., few or no “me too” posts).

Marc has a great list of interviews with influencers in our community:

  • Interview with Jeremy Allaire from May 2002, in which Jeremy talked about the future of RIAs;
  • Interview with Jeffrey Zeldman from this summer, on standards;
  • Interview with Joshua Davis from August 2002, in which Joshua talks about Flash and beauty;
  • Interview with Lee Thorn from December 2002, on rural networks and localization in Laos.
  • Interview with Massimo Foti from September 2002, on extending Dreamweaver.

So is TopStyle better than HS for CFML?
