MXDU: Flex & Blackstone Exclusives
If you weren't a recipient of yesterday's Macromedia mail out you may not already know MXDU's late breaking news. Tim Buntel, ColdFusion Product Manager, will now be joining the likes of Mike Chambers, Branden Hall & Guy Watson to present at MXDU (http://www.mxdu.com).
I'm looking forward to meeting Tim again myself and to hear the very latest about Blackstone, the next version of ColdFusion announced late last year at MAX. Ben Elmore will be delivering a Flex preview as well. Check the conference schedule for more details.

It may sound strange but I'm looking forward to hearing the latest about Blackstone too! I've been so heads-down on my current back office project, I haven't even had time to look at what's next in ColdFusion...

Is Forta a no-show ?

Sadly Mr Forta is unable to attend. The part of Forta will be played by Tim Buntel - saw Tim present at DevCon 2001 in Orlando, he's very dynamic - put on a great show. For the keynote on the second day he managed to upstage Jeremy Allaire, Tim was playing the part of the ColdFusion developer on stage - when Jeremy came over to ask him some questions Tim acted excited "Wow Jeremy Allaire! Do you think that you can get me Ben Forta's autograph..." Brought the house down.
