We've finally given into the huge demands for the keynote intros to be published uncensored on the web. It's taken a little while to get the file size down to a respectable level, and we've had to change the odd little thing here and there to scrimp and save on file size for delivery over the web -- but it will bring back memories.
With some clever compression and Nectarine's bag of animation tricks we've got the file down to a respectable 1.8Mb. I'm hosting the movie on the hefty Fullasagoog pipe so with any luck bandwidth shouldn't be an issue.
The mood piece is an official distribution from Macromedia (complete with the dulcet tones of Peter Ryce) that goes just a little haywire... the script was put together by yours truly (completely ripped off Lock Stock but heh) and the whole lot was animated by the phenomenal team at Nectarine
So sit back and imagine... Theak-Tet have just finished their live jazz set on stage, the audience is rustling, and the house lights go down. MXDU has begun...
