This is pretty cool: in addition to a pop up dialogue box when an application launches, try/buy applications in Central automatically display the remaining number of trial days as an amended icon in Central's toolbar.
We're preparing to launch a new try/buy Central application, Certifiable (http://certifiable.daemon.com.au) - use it to test your knowledge, we've got it available as a preview release at the moment.
With a merchant id in place I've modified the product.xml to give the application a 90 day trial period, when I tested the version of Certifiable that I had in my machine I saw nothing remarkable but when I did a fresh install of Central and the application on a new laptop here at work I noticed the number of remaining trial days appeared laid over the app's icon within Central's toolbar.
Please note Central team: a fresh install of the application displayed this countdown, but an application update didn't.
Setting the machine's date forward changed the figure in the countdown, so expect to see things progress day by day.

Great app! I liked it, and it had real use, and I could see people wanting to use it for QA purposes and me to brag (or not the first time, anyway).

Thanks Jesse, I'm in the process of blogging over the next couple of days just exactly went into building Certifiable.
You'll find that the Flash question pool is currently the smallest with 20 questions, CFMX has about 60 and counting. We're adding questions to each of the question pools as we find the time.
